Suniel Shetty Breaks Silence on Kartik Aaryan Replacing Akshay Kumar in Hera Pheri 3!

The third Hera Pheri film is expected to feature the return of Paresh Rawal, Suniel Shetty, and Akshay Kumar. Suniel recently talked candidly about how he feels about the reunion. He also responded to earlier reports that Kartik Aaryan might play Akshay's role in Hera Pheri 3. He said that the previous person was a new character rather than a replacement.

Suniel Shetty discussed getting back together with Paresh Rawal and Akshay Kumar for Hera Pheri 3 in a recent interview with a tabloid. He claimed that throughout filming, it didn't seem like the first portion had been set 25 years ago.

 

The actor claimed that they were still the same, and the only alteration was in their appearances and getups. "Everyone was the same, including the producer and director," he said. Suniel did, however, add that they would miss the late actor Om Puri, who was crucial to the first movie.

Suniel Shetty stated in the interview that they didn't feel as like they were "playing a character" during the filming process. He went on to say, "Nobody else can play those characters."

 

Regarding the long-standing speculation that Kartik Aaryan might take Akshay Kumar's place, Suniel revealed, “Whoever else was coming in was never supposed to replace anybody. He was coming as a new character, but now the makers have gone back to the old script and it is Hera Pheri 10 times more fun.”

 

Priyadarshan will be directing Hera Pheri 3. According to reports, a promotional video starring Paresh Rawal, Suniel Shetty, and Akshay Kumar has been filmed and would be used as the movie's official announcement.
