Priyamani talks about Anushka, Nayanthara and Samantha's remuneration!

South star Priyamani is one of the gifted actresses of the south industry. Seemingly, after winning the National Award, Priyamani has hiked her remuneration. Priyamani lately in a media chat talked about the pay disparity between the male and female actors of the film industry. The actress spoke her mind out about how even if the movie does well at the box office, it really doesn’t help (monetarily) the heroine as much as it does for the hero.

 

Priyamani also revealed about how the South actresses are finally getting their due and asking for what they are worth. Talking about Anushka Shetty, Nayanthara and Samantha Akkineni getting their dues, Priyamani told, "Actors like Anushka Shetty, Nayanthara, Samantha Akkineni are great examples to look up to. It’s a wonderful thing that women are finally speaking up and asking for what they’re worth."
