Beyond the Barricades: Another Intruder Caught at Salman Khan's Galaxy Apartments!

Mumbai, India – Bollywood superstar Salman Khan's residence, Galaxy Apartments in Bandra, was once again at the center of a security scare this week as a woman was apprehended by Mumbai Police for attempting to trespass into the heavily guarded building. This incident follows closely on the heels of another similar breach just two days prior, raising significant concerns about the actor's security, which was already heightened after a firing incident outside his home last year.

 

According to Mumbai Police, a woman was taken into custody on Thursday morning (May 22, 2025) after she allegedly tried to illegally enter the Galaxy Apartments premises. While details about her identity and motives are still emerging, authorities are currently interrogating her to ascertain the full scope of the incident. She was intercepted before she could reach the actor's specific residence within the apartment complex.

 

This latest incident highlights a worrying trend in recent days. On Monday, May 20, a 23-year-old man from Chhattisgarh, identified as Jitendra Kumar Singh, was also apprehended after attempting to gain unauthorized access to Galaxy Apartments. Reports indicate that Singh first appeared at the building's main gate in the morning, claiming to be a fan wanting to meet the actor. After being denied entry and reacting agitatedly by smashing his phone, he returned later that evening, attempting to sneak in by following a resident's vehicle. He was subsequently caught by security personnel and handed over to the Bandra police.

 

These back-to-back security breaches have put the spotlight back on the elaborate security measures surrounding Salman Khan, who has been under a 'Y+' category security cover, which includes armed commandos and escort vehicles. This heightened security was implemented after an alarming firing incident in April 2024, where two individuals on a motorcycle fired four rounds outside Galaxy Apartments. The attack was later claimed by the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, who have an ongoing feud with the actor stemming from the 1998 Blackbuck poaching case.

 

While Salman Khan has actively fortified his residence with features like bulletproof glass and advanced surveillance systems, these recent events underscore the persistent challenges in safeguarding high-profile individuals from determined individuals. Investigations into both trespassing incidents are ongoing, as police work to understand the full extent of the intentions behind these attempts and to further bolster the security protocols at Galaxy Apartments.
