Shankar Mahadevan to return home after Grammy win!

One of India's most well-known and prosperous composer-singers is Shankar Mahadevan. His band Shakti, along with Zakir Hussain's, took home the Best Global Music Album Grammy in 2024. After the significant victory, Mahadevan recently travelled back to India, and the Mumbai airport welcomed him with love.

 

Shankar Mahadevan arrived in India today, February 8, following his Grammy Award victory. The gifted artist was greeted warmly by his family and well-wishers at the airport. He was wearing a red sweater. He continued to get roses from individuals after that. Mahadevan's expression was one of constant satisfaction as he made everyone proud with the significant victory.

 

The fusion group Shakti, which includes musicians Zakir Hussain, John McLaughlin, violinist Ganesh Rajagopalan, vocalist Shankar Mahadevan, and drummer V Selvaganesh, won the Global Music Album at the 2024 Grammy Awards. The event took place on February 5 in Los Angeles.
