Pooja Hegde and Bobby Deol to unite for Vijay starrer film Thalapathy 69!

The actor Thalapathy Vijay, who was most recently seen in the film The Greatest Of All Time, often known as The GOAT, is getting ready to make his "last film," which is now titled Thalapathy 69. It appears that Bobby Deol would be playing a significant role, while Pooja Hegde could be joining as the lead actress.

 

A tabloid rumour claims that both actors will likely star with Vijay in the film directed by H Vinoth. In addition, a pooja ceremony is anticipated to be held by the makers on October 4, 2024, with filming scheduled to start on October 5.

 

It's interesting to note that the movie's creators also released a teaser. Recently, a post was made with the caption, “Let’s see whether your guesses are on point,” they declared that the cast would be revealed on October 1, 2024, starting at 5:00 p.m. In addition, the cast reveal is scheduled to take place in three days.

 

Should the rumors about Pooja Hegde joining the cast come to pass, it will be the actress and superstar's second working together since their 2022 film Beast. However, it would also be Bobby Deol's second Tamil project following the Suriya film Kanguva.

Regarding Thalapathy Vijay's career, the renowned actor was most recently seen in the Venkat Prabhu-directed film The GOAT, where he portrayed a dual role. The film tells the story of an anti-terrorist squad captain who goes to Thailand on a missionary/family vacation and ends up losing his son.

 

But in a cruel turn of events, the prodigal son comes home to discover he is hatching a sinister scheme against his father and other family members. The rest of the movie follows their cat-and-mouse chase and how one subdues the other.
