Ranbir Kapoor, the son of Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Kapoor, previously talked candidly about his first paycheck—a sum of Rs. 250—and his spending habits. The Animal actor told a newspaper that he kept it at his mother Neetu Kapoor's feet "like a good boy" after receiving it for Prem Granth. He also revealed Neetu's reaction to the gesture.

 

For those who don't know, Ranbir worked as an assistant to his uncle Rajiv Kapoor, the director of the 1996 movie Prem Granth. In the conversation, he stated, "My first paycheck was ₹250 that I got while assisting on Prem Granth. Like a good boy, I went to my mother's room and I put it on her feet. She looked at it and she started crying. It was one of those filmy moments that I performed."

 

Neetu Ji became 65 years old in 2023, and her son Ranbir, daughter Riddhima Kapoor Sahani, granddaughter Samara Sahni, and son-in-law Bharat Sahni were all there to celebrate with her in Italy.
