Karan Johar to reveal about Student of the year 3!

Even years after their premiere, Karan Johar's Student of the Year and its follow-up remain highly appealing. Making an impression on the screen, Karan brought fresh talent and compelling narratives. Fans have been anticipating news about Student of the Year 3, and Karan has now officially confirmed the speculations and shared insights about what to expect in the next edition.

 

According to a well-known daily, Karan Johar discussed Student of the Year 3 at the Chandigarh Cinevesture International Film Festival (CIFF). Reema Maya from Nocturnal Burger would be directing the web series, he revealed when discussing his next endeavors. Karan underlined working with up-and-coming talent, giving Reema as an example.

 

He revealed, “Reema Maya will be directing the digital version of Student of the Year. But it will be her way and definitely not mine, because if I will enter Reema Maya’s world, then I will make it more of an illusion, which is what her name means. I just wanted it to be her voice. She made it her own series.”

 

Shanaya Kapoor was already revealed by a tabloid to be the lead actress in Student of the Year 3. She was originally scheduled to make her screen debut with Gurfateh Pirzada and Laksh Lalwani in Bedhadak, however it appears the movie has been scrapped. She was also supposed to make her feature film debut opposite Mohanlal in the Malayalam film Vrushabha, but that too was doomed.
