The well-known Bollywood actor Aditya Roy Kapur recently talked candidly about having some "vulnerable moments" in his career. He talked about a "tough period" when he lost his job due to consecutive failures and stressed the need of having a solid support network. He underlined that the secret to surviving those trying times was having family and friends at his side.

In an interview with Kareena Kapoor Khan on her chat show What Women Want, Aditya Roy Kapur talked candidly about a number of difficult times in his life that made him feel exposed. He described everything from grappling with movie failures to health issues and academic setbacks.

The Night Manager star considered how he was disappointed with the options available at the time and how some of his movies didn't connect with audiences. “There have been vulnerable moments, like films not working or when one hasn’t had work. A few films didn’t do well, and I didn’t like anything (that was being offered), maybe because I was vulnerable at that point of time,” he told.

This difficult time, which was characterized by unemployment and discontent, highlighted how crucial it is to have a solid support network. He revealed, “It was a tough period where I wasn’t liking anything and not working for a while.” Aditya admitted that his family's and friends' support was crucial in getting him through those trying times.

Aditya responded that his strategy changes based on the movie when Kareena asked how he handles setbacks. He emphasized the substantial time and energy commitment required to produce a film, as well as the rigorous marketing campaigns that heighten interest. A project's failure might have a significant impact after almost a year of work.

He added that a movie's failure can feel especially shocking because of the thrilling buildup. It hurts, and he acknowledged that processing and accepting the disappointment takes time.
